The Silent Wood

Still alive, still fighting..!
I've really started to push myself on the digital painting thing.  I've always wanted to paint stylized, soul-absorbing landscapes and scenery, but I never taught myself any of the beginning steps I guess.  Forced myself off my butt yesterday and psyched myself up to get down to it.  I feel it blooming!!
I really hope to be making more artwork like this; in the far future I would love to begin digitally painting most (if not all) of the backgrounds in Team Hero.  The action of painting.. it's so freeing to me.. I've missed this, and the teeter-tottering through new techniques and whatnot has actually done some to push away my depression for a(n albeit brief) time.
Right now, I feel happy.
